I am Roma and I set up Fort Lough Interiors in 2022, with a career in Optometry I loved working with people but my real passion was for Interiors, After building our home I fell in love with interiors and designing different rooms and spaces.
I took the plunge and completed a diploma in Professional Soft Furnishings and Curtain Making from the National Design Academy.

I am expertly trained in the art of making beautiful, handmade soft furnishings and I am thrilled to be able to pursue my dream of starting my own soft furnishings business. All my work is made in my home studio in Derry and everything I make is with the utmost attention to detail. My love and passion for my work can be seen in every project I take on.

I believe that our homes tell stories about us and should reflect the people who live there. Each room should portray the passions, interests and lifestyle of the family. Home is where we love to be and the soft furnishings should complement the interior. Because of that it will make you smile every day.
